It's a theme we keep coming back to...assessing the existing elements in your home before adding new architectural details.
It's not that you can't add something new, it's just important to be intentional about those decisions. You may want to add the new element in multiple spaces, or adjust some existing elements to coordinate.

I love a good challenge, and if you're up for it: a DIY project. A few strategic changes can bring a whole new look to your room. I love the idea of a new/different bed/headboard, as this is often the focal point in the bedroom.
