Hi! I'm Cate. 👋

I KNOW this will help. 💯

Whew-eee, Reader!

I'll get to the Q&As in a sec, but first I have an idea and I’d LOVE to involve you.

I’m creating a digital course to help overwhelmed, frustrated homeowners gain confidence and clarity making selections when renovating or building a home.

I know how tough it is to experience the pressure of "getting it right" and it's so easy to get confused over the hundreds (thousands?) of options for flooring, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, paint colors, etc. This course will be the solution that I know is going to help so many people (hopefully including you).

This is where you come in...

I’ve opened up 10 spots (and only a few are left) to enroll in my future $249 course at a 50% discount in exchange for less than five minutes of your time once per week over the next 5 weeks.

The course – which goes Live on January 23 – hasn’t been fully created yet, but I will be taking the next 5 weeks to finalize the course with insight... hopefully from YOU.

I’ll send you a short and sweet email each Friday morning with 3 questions. All you have to do is vote for your favorite idea (I’ll generally send you two options to choose from) or answer a simple question.

And on January 23, after I’ve opened up enrollment to the public at the full price, you’ll receive the finalized course (and any bonuses I offer during my launch)!

So, are you in?

This opportunity is only available until tomorrow at 5pm (12/2). I’d love for you to be part of this experience.

If you’ve struggled to choose fixtures and selections for your home projects, this is your chance to get in at the lowest rate I will ever sell this course for. Plus, you get a say in what will be included in the course.

Click here to enroll today at a special discounted price: $125.

Did I mention, you’ll have lifetime access to the course? Which means, if I update the core program anytime in the future, you’ll get those updates hot off the press, too!

Q&A

This week we're covering:

  • decorating a guest room/office
  • adding ribbon to Christmas trees
  • trends for 2023

A couple of important points above...the white somehow makes the room look smaller...and also would shiplap be a good idea? Even with the texture and interest of shiplap, a too-stark white won't feel quite right. A more saturated neutral would be better.

Shiplap is an element that definitely rides the line of classic and trendy. It's certainly been around forever as a construction element (making it quite timeless), but it has become so trendy and overused over the last decade. In a farmhouse style home it would make sense and work for years to come, but in a more traditional home, it will likely age quickly and feel out of place.

Here are the links I shared above: Monica's and Jenny's ribbon tutorials.

With Christmas trees, I say: do what makes your heart happy! Ribbon, bows, tassels, all of the above, none of the above...whatever brings you joy.

This is the approach I like lean into most of the time:

Choose classic, timeless hard finishes, and get creative with the decorating.

It aligns so ding dang well with the course I'm creating to help you add resale value and to avoid regretful selections when you're investing in a renovation.

Click here to grab one of the 10 presale spots now. Early enrollment ends on December 2. The course content will begin January 23.

Let me know if you have any questions! (About the course OR your home 😉)
